Throughout the year, one of the biggest reasons for gates not working is due to a loss of power. While some of our customers have generators at their residence (which power the gates, as well as many other items during a power outage), most customers do not. For this reason, we recommend our customers have a battery backup system installed. Our battery backup system will allow your gates to be run multiple times in the event of a power failure, meaning you will not have to get out of your vehicle to manually bypass the gate operator (always a good thing when it is raining heavily).
